Cheap Make Up Product:

Looking for Cheap Make Up?

Are you on the hunt continuously for Cheap Make Up products? Well fear not, as I will be reviewing the best foundations that you can get on the market at the moment that definitely fall into the cheap make up category.

Why Foundation?

We wear foundation on our faces as it can cover a multitude of sins! If you have had a heavy night or not much sleep, then a good foundation can help hide any puffiness or redness and create a flatter look across your face. More importantly though, if you have problem skin, or your face has suffered over the years from sunburn or punishment form the elements and it looks tired and has blemishes, dry patches and spots, then foundation is the thing for you! As foundation is the base for the rest of our make up then it is so important to buy and create the right look for your own face and skin tone, otherwise it can affect how the rest of your make up looks, colour wise.

First Cheap Make Up product review:

The first product I am reviewing is Boots No 7 Stay Perfect Foundation, which says that it will help with the signs of make up meltdown with its long lasting moisturising foundation. If anyone can do good cheap make up then its Boots!

The foundation is easy to be applied as the product is thick and creamy whereas other foundations can be quite watery. I put it on with my fingers due to the ease of which it goes on with fingers, but it could also be applied with a sponge with no problems. The foundation doesn’t need a lot of blending in before i have created the perfect look as it looks balanced and even.

Sometimes a problem with cheap make up products is that the variety is quite limited, but with this foundation there are 8 shades from which you can choose your perfect skin match. As there is moisturiser in the foundation already, it leaves my skin feeling really good and doesn’t dry out as the day progresses.

All in all a really good cheap make up product that I would definitely use again. Boots No 7 Stay Perfect Foundation can be found on their website for £14.25 with 2% cashback.

Second Review:

My second cheap make up product review is Avon’s Ideal Shade Liquid Foundation. As Avon have been operating for years, they are the masters in make up, especially affordable cheap make up, so i am hoping for some good things from their foundation!

Avon claim that this foundation will soften the look of lines, wrinkles and pores and i have to say it doesn’t disappoint. With 10 shades to choose from Avon really have got this product right as i found that it went on smoothly, again just using my fingers. I find that some foundations don’t blend in very well as they are quite dry on my skin, but the Avon foundation went on with any problems. Once it was on and fully blended in, it looked very good and felt so light that is dint feel like i was wearing it plus i was able to apply other make up over it, such as blusher without any worries.

For this cheap make up product, Avon’s Ideal Shade Liquid Foundation is £10 from their website with up to 8% cashback on all purchases.

Final Review:

The final cheap make up product review is The Body Shops Moisturise Foundation with a SPF15. The foundation comes in 6 different shades and includes organic beeswax, Marula Oil and Vitamin E, so a real mix of healthy products for your face!

The foundation was a bit runnier than the other two foundations, but it was still easy to apply with a sponge. As it was slightly runnier, I actually found that it blended in even easier than the previous ones and covered my blemishes easier. It did leave my skin feeling quite oily, but that maybe due to the fact the I get a oily T Zone, so the extra moisture didn’t sit well with it. However, for skin that needs extra moisture, this is the foundation for you as you can feel the rehydration on your skin when you wear it.

It can be found on their website for £11.70 with up to 6% cashback.

And the winner is....

The conclusion to my cheap make up product review is that for under £15 you have the pick of three fine foundations, however the Boots Stay Perfect foundation felt the best for my skin and gave it that natural even look for the whole day, so that’s my winner of this review!
